On a sunny day we made our way to the Mayflower Pub, a historic pub on the south bank of the river Thames in Rotherhithe, London. The pub’s name comes from the famous Mayflower ship which sailed to America. The Ship left from Rotherhithe and along the journey picked up passengers seeking freedom in America.
The Pub has old world charm and a short bus ride from Tower Bridge area. This was our first visit to Rotherhithe and the relaxed atmosphere was a nice break in out ten day visit to London. Here are a few pictures from our visit.
